Celebration of the Constitution Day 2022

The Embassy of India in Antananarivo celebrated the Constitution Day of India on 25 November 2022, which was attended by the officials of the Embassy, members of Indian diaspora, ITEC/ICCR alumni and representatives of local media. 

Ambassador Bandaru Wilsonbabu paid floral tributes to the architect of the Constitution of India Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and recalled his invaluable contribution to the making of the Constitution. He also highlighted the salient features of the Constitution of India as well as importance of inculcating the constitutional values for national development. 

This was followed by the screening of a documentary on “Making of Constitution of India”, a photo exhibition on the life of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and an interactive session on the relevance of Constitution of India for India’s socio-economic development.
