Celebrations of the World Hindi Day 2024


            The Embassy of India, Antananarivo organized an event to celebrate “World Hindi Day” on 10 January 2024. The event was attended by Director of Economic Expansion (DEE), Mrs. RASATA Rafaravavitafika, Chief of Service of Diplomatic Chancery, Mrs. Duprine Maroriky, Policy Analyst,  Centre for Studies and Strategic Analysis, Mrs. Clara Randrianjara, Policy Analyst,  Centre for Studies and Strategic Analysis, Mrs. Lanto Raharizafy, from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as the Members of the Indian Diaspora and Hindi language enthusiasts at the Embassy.


            The cultural programme started with remarks on history and importance of World Hindi Day by the Embassy Hindi language teacher. 


            Charge d'Affaires read out the message of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on the occasion of World Hindi Day which conveyed his greetings to all the participants and encouraged the youth for usage of Hindi language in all walks of life and conveyed thanks for every contribution towards enrichment and propagation of Hindi language.


            To mark the occasion, the students of Hindi gave an enthralling presentation of Hindi poems, songs, skit and dance performances.  


             Exhibitions of Hindi books and millets were also showcased on the occasion.
