Celebrations of the World Hindi Day 2023

Press Release 

World Hindi Day was marked by the members of Indian community and Hindi language enthusiasts  at the Embassy of India Antananarivo on 10 January 2023. It was also attended by of ITEC/ICCR alumni.

The event started with welcome remarks by the Embassy Hindi Teacher on the history of World Hindi Day and its importance. 

Ambassador read out the message of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India on the occasion of World Hindi Day.

Hindi poems and songs were presented by the ITEC alumni, and Hindi students. Hindi song were sung by members of ITEC Alumni and local staff of the Embassy. 

A video message on "Swachhta Abhiyan" as part of Swachhta Pakwada was screened on the occasion.
