Constitution Day observed in Madagascar
The Embassy has observed the ‘Constitution Day’ on 26th November 2015. Indian nationals were invited by the Embassy for the same. A framed photograph of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar was prominently displayed on the stage on a table. H.E. Mr C.B. Thapliyal, Ambassador of India briefly spoke about the Indian Constitution and its making before reading out the Preamble to the Constitution, followed by the invited NRIs and the India-based officers of the Mission. Then the two short films namely, ‘India – The Spirit of Freedom’ and ‘Taana Baana – The Warp & Weft of India’ were screened for the audience.
