Food Festival of India opens in Madagascar

The Opening Ceremony of the Food Festival of India was held at hotel Ibis in Antananarivo, Madagascar on 9 November, 2015. Around 300 persons including high ranking officials in the local Govt., members of the Diplomatic Corps, members of Indian diaspora and persons of Malagasy and other nationalities participated in the ceremony. The festival is being organized by the Embassy of India in Antananarivo with the support of Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Tourism, & India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) and in partnership with hotel Ibis, Antananarivo. Two renowned chefs, Mr. Balram Jaiswal and Mr. Mahender Kumar have been specially flown from India to present to the connoisseurs of Indian food, mouthwatering Indian delicacies. The Food Festival organized under the aegis of the Festival of India in Madagascar will continue till 15 November, 2015.
