Image Guided Therapies- 2015

Back | Print

 Greetings from the Organizing Committee!!

Integration of Image guided therapies (IGT) into clinical practice in countries in the emerging world, including India, faces various challenges. Despite the rapid advances in the technology and the interventional techniques that have taken place, the benefits of these niche resources have not percolated to the mainstream. In order to improve the quality of healthcare delivery in this subspecialty, the SIGT was started as a forum for all stake holders involved in the field of image guided therapies (IGTs).

As part of this skill development initiative, the society will conduct a series of courses addressing the basics and essentials of IGTs. The first course is planned in New Delhi on December 11-13, 2015.
