The 3rd Study India Programme in partnership with the Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE) is scheduled to be organized by the Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs from 03.1.2015 to 03.02.2015 in Pune. The programme is open to foreign citizens of Indian origin in the age group 18-26 not including Non Resident Indians who has not previously participated in the above programme. The salient features of the programme are as follows:
The objective is to familiarize the students with the art & culture, heritage, history, economy and development of India and enable them to better understand and appreciate contemporary India, foster closer ties with the land of their ancestors and enhance their engagement with India.
· The courses are for four weeks duration and the academic content which would facilitate understanding of contemporary India and its development, political and financial systems, economic, social and administrative structures with exposure to Indian mythology, history, arts, handicrafts, dance, music, cuisine, languages and age-old traditions;
· The applicants should be able to converse in English. All applicants of the programme may be required to write an essay of 250 to 300 words on why they want to participate in the programme and what they expect to gain from it.
· Participants who are willing to enrol themselves may download application form from http://moia.gov.in. The completed application form along with a passport size photograph may please be submitted to the Embassy of India, Antananarivo. The last date for the acceptance of application at the Embassy is 10 December 2014.
· Selected participants are provided with full hospitality in India for the duration of the Programme.
· Selected participants would be required to purchase air ticket for their journey from the country of residence to India and back. 90% of the total cost of air ticket by the lowest economy class excursion fare(Direct flight) will be reimbursed by the Embassy to the participants on successful completion of the Programme by them.
Le 3ème Programme d'étude en Inde
Le 3ème programme d'étude en Inde en partenariat avec le Centre Symbiose de l'Education Internationale (SCIE) est prévu pour être organisé par le Ministère des Affaires Indiennes d’Outre-mer, du 03.01.2015 au 03.02.2015 à Pune. Le programme est ouvert aux ressortissants étrangers d'origine indienne dans le groupe d'âge de 18-26 ans [n’incluant pas les Indiens Non Résidents] qui n’ont pas participé précédemment au programme ci-dessus. Les principales caractéristiques du programme sont les suivantes:
• L'objectif est faire familiariser les étudiants avec l'art et la culture, le patrimoine, l'histoire, l'économie et le développement de l'Inde et de leur permettre de mieux comprendre et d’apprécier l'Inde contemporaine, de favoriser des liens plus étroits avec la terre de leurs ancêtres et de renforcer leur engagement avec l'Inde.
• Les cours vont durer quatre semaines et le contenu académique facilitera la compréhension de l'Inde contemporaine et son développement, les systèmes politiques et financiers, les structures économiques, sociales et administratives avec une exposition à la mythologie Indienne, l'histoire, les arts, l'artisanat, la danse, la musique, la cuisine, les langues et les traditions séculaires;
• Les candidats doivent être en mesure de converser en anglais. Tous les candidats au programme seront tenus d’écrire une dissertation de 250 à 300 mots sur pourquoi ils veulent participer au programme et ce qu'ils attendent à y gagner.
• Les participants qui sont prêts à s’inscrire peuvent télécharger le formulaire de demande à partir du http://moia.gov.in. Le formulaire de demande dûment rempli accompagné d'une photographie de format passeport peut être soumis à l'Ambassade de l'Inde, Antananarivo. La date limite pour l'acceptation de la demande à l'Ambassade est le 26 novembre 2014. Les lignes directrices et le formulaire de demande sont également joints.
• Les participants sélectionnés jouiront d’une hospitalité complète en Inde pour la durée du programme.
• Les participants sélectionnés seront tenus d'acheter un billet d'avion pour leur voyage aller, de Madagascar / Comores à New Delhi (Inde) et le retour. 90% du coût total du billet d'avion par le plus bas tarif en classe économique (vol direct) sera remboursé aux participants par l'Ambassade lors de l'achèvement du programme par eux.
