INDIA OFFERS SCHOLARSHIPS FOR MALAGASY/COMORIAN STUDENTS TO STUDY IN INDIAN UNIVERSITIES

The Government of India offer scholarships for Malagasy and Comorian students respectively through Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) under Africa Scholarship Scheme for Undergraduate, Postgraduate, M. Phil. /Ph.D. and Post-Doctoral Fellowship in various Indian Universities/Institutes. Scholarships would include free tuition, stipend and air ticket.

Those interested and have the requisite educational qualifications may apply online on the portal www.a2ascholarships.iccr.gov.in  and go through guidelines, terms and conditions of the scholarships before setting up for the admission process.

Students are required to fill in their application online and submit one printed application form to the Embassy along with all required documentation.

The last date for submitting applications to Embassy of India, Antananarivo is 31st January 2019          

 

WHAT ARE THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF THE SCHOLARSHIPS?

- Candidates are requested to achieve adequate level of English Proficiency as medium of instruction in India is English.

- Candidates will be asked to sit for a written test to determinate proficiency in English and for an interview in the Embassy.

- Applicants must be fully fit to be able to stay and complete his/her course in India and should not be suffering with any life threatening ailment.

- Applicants must be 18 years of age and not more than 30 years of age.

- Candidates will be recommended for admission to the preferred Universities but the final decision or admission will be made only by the respective universities.
