Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz – Open for Foreign Nationals as well. Hurry-up, the last date for registration is approaching

Subject: Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz –Open for Foreign Nationals also now and last date of registration 15.9.2018.

The Embassy of India, Antananarivo is once again requesting all interested persons belonging to NRI/PIO status or even foreign nationals to hurry up in registering themselves as “Bharat Ko Janiye Quiz is now open for foreign citizens as well, which means now Malagasy nationals and French passport holders will also be able to participant in the Quiz.

2.         As announced by the Honourable PM to open the quiz for foreign nationals, the cut-off date for registration process has now been extended till 15 September 2018. The 1st round of Quiz test will open for the contestants from September 16 to September 30, 2018 (local time).

3.         It may be noted that Quiz contestants do not require to visit Embassy to take the test. Overseas contestants can appear the Quiz test from anywhere or any part of the world during this period. Evaluation of the test would be done by the Embassy of India and results will be uploaded with score and time taken by the contestant to complete the test.

4.         The top 3 winners of foreign national category at Mission level Quiz would be given medals by the Mission and they would participate in the second round of quiz (online) to be conducted by the Ministry of External Affairs. Top 10 finalists of the foreign national category would also be selected on the basis of marks secured in second round and they will be invited to participate in the third round (Semi final) and fourth round (Final round) in India. They would also attend the workshop in New Delhi and participate in the Bharat ko Janiye Yatra, a 15 day tour of India along with NRI & PIO category. Top 3 winners of (NRI, PIO & Foreign National category) will be awarded Gold/Silver/Bronze medals at the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention in January 2019 at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
