Advisory for Foreign Nationals travelling to India with satellite phones

It has been reported by relevant authorities in India that some foreign nationals are travelling to India with satellite phones.  As per Indian law, there is ban on foreigners carrying satellite phones to India.  Foreigners may please note this.  The outsourcing service providers of satellite phones are also requested to note that there is ban on providing satellite phone services to foreigners travelling to India.
