CIRCULAR NOTICE 

Textile India 2017 

The Ministry of Textiles, Government of India is organizing a mega international event calledTextile India 2017 from 30th June to 2nd July, 2017 at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhi Nagar, Gujarat. The event will mark the positioning, for the first time, of an annual textile trade event in the country that will be part of the annual global calendar of the trade. H.E. Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India has kindly consented to inaugurate the event.

2.       Besides a mega exhibition that will showcase the strength of the value chain in India, an international conference will be held with participation from global and national leaders of the industry, technical experts and senior policy makers from the Union and State Governments.

3.       The 3-day event is expected to attract around 1000 international and domestic exhibitors and 2500 buyers from various countries in the exhibition. Madagascar being a key trader of textile material, the event will provide an excellent platform for B2B interactions and for exploring investment and technological tie-ups across various segments in the textiles value chain. A power point presentation about the event is attached.

4.       All the business chamber associations based in Madagascar are requested to disseminate the above information to their members and encourage them to participate in great numbers to enhance and strengthen the bilateral trade in textiles between India and Madagascar.
