32nd International Crafts Fair in India, from 2 to 18 February 2018: participation of 15 malagasy crafts persons

32nd Intemational Crafts Fair in Suraj Kund Faridabad, Haryana, India is being held from 2 to 18 February 2018. The Fair showcases the exquisite handlooms and handicrafts of India in a typical rural environment. Over 1.5 Million visitors are expected at the fair. All Indian provinces and over 20 countries are participating to exhibit their crafts. tt is wortdt largest Crafts Fair. This is the first time that 15 Crafts persons of eminence from Madagascar are attending this Fair. Government of lndia has facilitated their visit to India by providing them entire logistic assistance, including International fair. A Press Conferece was held in the Ministry of Culture, Antananarivo on 31. 1.2018. It was attended by the Honb’ble  Minister of Culture & Promotion of Handicrafts & safeguard of Heritage, H.E. Mr. lean Jacques Rabenirina, State Secretary to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Charge of Cooperation & Development, H.E. Mr. Bary Emmanuel Ratatrolaza and H.E. Ambassador of lndia, Mr. Subir Dutta. Ambassador was pleased to handover air tickets to the Crafts persons during the function.
